April Seelbach is an artist based out of Durango, Colorado. After spending the majority of her life living in Florida, she had an intense desire to explore the western states. In 2015 she bought a camper van and traveled to Oregon with her husband, who is also an artist. This was the first of a series of road trips. Throughout all these adventures, she was able to collect hundreds of photos that then became the canvas for experimental paint and design work. 60s & 70s style, patterns, and color schemes were already a huge source of inspiration & influence in her daily life, so it just felt natural to incorporate those themes into her artwork.
