About Mirth & Meadow

Hello! We are Keaton & Makenna, the founders of Mirth & Meadow. Together we're raising our four wild boys in the heart of Oklahoma. Parenting four boys has grown and shaped us in ways we never could have imagined. And we truly mean it when we say, we are living our dream. We have so much to be grateful for, including our precious children. Keaton has nearly ten years of experience working with leather, and naturally, that craft found its way into our home. From road trip car mats to leather stick horses to handmade shoes, he has blessed our family with his gift. Our oldest has very wide, chunky feet, and finding shoes that fit him well was always a challenge. Most children's' shoes are narrow and stiff. That search led us to barefoot shoes, and we quickly fell in love with their wide toe boxes, flexible soles, and focus on healthy foot development. n the beginning of 2025, we faced a few unexpected hardships. Those challenges pushed us to find new ways to provide for our growing family, and to keep me (Makenna) at home with our boys. We have always dreamed of building a business together and so in 2026, we stepped out in faith and started Mirth & Meadow. We love working with natural leather, its durability, its beauty, and the way it ages with time. But we wanted to create something unique, something joyful, colorful and full of personality.Read their story
