About Wilkerson Works

TAKE THREE: The third season of my life has begun … and it’s SO much fun! I’m a wife and a mom of three (and a dog!) who often searches for the right thing to say. I finally have found a voice! As children left the nest, and I had time to discover who I really am, I found some hidden gifts, talents and passions. I guess I am an ‘inspirational junkie’ because it is through others’ wisdom I am motivated to move forward and achieve my goals. My purpose in painting is not to yield a masterpiece … far from it! Instead, I create art that inspires, encourages and gives hope to others. So many people unknowingly have become my cheerleaders, and I want to root you on too! My wish is that we can each find our gifts and celebrate with one another as we achieve our own success. A little about me …. I grew up in Jackson, MS, graduated from The University of Mississippi, and worked in marketing in Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. I then did ‘the mom thing’ — carpooling and volunteering at the church and school — and loved every minute of it! In addition to selling online, out of my studio and at shows, I’m blessed to be represented by a number of gift shops and artisan boutiques. I look forward to exploring more opportunities to get my work out there and help others. Read their story
