About Salt + Soul Skincare

Salt + Soul was born from a lifelong love for beauty & inspired by the ocean that raised me. I grew up on Cape Cod, surrounded by salt air, seaweed, and a deep respect for the earth. That connection to the water inspires every formula I create, and every box that is intentionally wrapped to bring our coastal calm right to your shelves. I entered the beauty industry at 15 years old when I became a licensed manicurist after attending beauty school at night while still in High School. I went on to purchase my first day spa on my 18th birthday, then to working in the industry on Newbury Street and around Boston for a decade. Years later, once I had kids- everything changed. My youngest son at the time had respiratory issues, along with my father whom we lived with & cared for- prompting me to look at all the environmental factors around us. I was working and living in toxic overload on a daily basis from all of the products that I once thought were "safe". I made a snap decision, leaving everything behind to reach for a cleaner, more simple lifestyle. I started boycotting big beauty, formulating our own skincare, and I've never looked back. Our products pay homage to our beautiful earth, mimicking the skincare rituals our ancestors once used. Slow, intentional, and made with nature.
