At Wanderlust Pup Co, we value supporting local and sustainibility. We proudly source all supplies from Canadian companies. Biothane® is manufactured in the United States (not China), and sourced through a Canadian company along with our hardware, which is all solid brass. Even the smallest of things like size stickers on our product tags come from a Canadian small business. Our product tags are made of recycled cotton and our printed materials are printed on FSC certified recycled paper. We love that you are supporting our Canadian small business, and in turn we love to support other Canadian small business with our purchasing of supplies. We created Wanderlust Pup Co. to handcraft dog gear using materials we love and stand behind. Biothane is waterproof, odour proof, durable, easy to clean, and incredibly strong (it got its start in the equine industry). We only use solid brass hardware for our dog collars and leashes. Solid brass is an ideal choice as it's a solid metal, not plated, won't chip, rust, corrode, and is malleable so will flex before it breaks (unlike zinc or nickel plated hardware commonly used in the dog industry).
