Honu Play is a New Zealand based design brand reducing plastic pollution worldwide through thoughtfully and sustainably designed objects for the home. We believe that giving plastic pollution a value is how we will see the biggest impact on the global plastic crisis, so we are committed to solution focussed design that helps shape the circular economy and protects the planet. Founded in London in 2020 by Claire Matthews, Honu Play was born from a passion to make sure Earth is a safe and beautiful place for future generations. An ode to children around the world, Honu Play’s debut product is Greta the Great™, an abstract turtle toy made from recycled fishing nets and other disused maritime plastics.
