About Madam Sew

MadamSew was founded in March 2017 by brothers Mark and Richard Fiers. Both of their grandmothers are avid sewers. While looking for sewing-related presents for them online, they found that there were a lot of handy tools available that a lot of people didn’t know about. That inspired Mark and Richard to start MadamSew.com, an online-only store that offers carefully selected sewing tools intended to make sewing easier and more fun. Richard, a former teacher, immediately adopted a focus on providing in-depth instructions with the tools sold in the webstore, along with top-notch customer service, in order to best assist customers. The store was an instant hit, and MadamSew rapidly grew to a company with more than 10 employees and inventory in 2 warehouses (main warehouse being in North Carolina). Based on customer input, we soon began to develop our own products. The ultimate presser foot set and the heat erasable fabric marking pens were the first to be introduced in our shop. Ever since, our product development team has been working hard to bring nifty new sewing tools to the shop. MadamSew.com has grown to be more than just a store, we are also a community where people can get inspired by, and interact with like-minded people. Our customers share inspiration, successes, & challenges with fellow sewing enthusiasts on our Facebook groups, Instagram, and Twitter.
