Salsa Queen was started by a single mother to provide for her 7 children. She immigrated to the US from her native Mexico when she was 17. She didn't speak English and had no work experience. Her first child passed away from leukemia when only 19 months old, but she was blessed with 7 more children. The Company has grown rapidly since 2014 and its fresh, gourmet salsas can be purchased in 300+ stores in 12 states. Our focus has always been on big, bold authentic flavors with no preservatives. We recently launched a line of freeze-dried salsas that require no refrigeration and are shelf-stable for 20+ years.
