About Salsa Queen
Salsa Queen was started by a single mother to provide for her 7 children. She immigrated to the US from her native Mexico when she was 17. She didn't speak English and had no work experience. Her first child passed away from leukemia when only 19 months old, but she was blessed with 7 more children. Our line of freeze-dried salsas requires no refrigeration and are shelf-stable for 20+ years. These are perfect for anyone 'on the go'....campers, hikers, boaters, and even road-trippers. Just add water and you'll have the most amazing salsa ready in just a few seconds.

These salsas are just great. You would never be able to tell that they were freeze dried. All four flavors are delicious. The tomatillo is a little salty, but I am sure some people like that, and it’s great for adding to dishes! Do yourself a favor and mix the red chili and the mango pineapple together.
