The Consulate grew out of a passion for history and an appreciation for craftsmanship. We travel all over Spain looking for artisans with little or no presence on the internet, we want to hear their own history and interests and rescue the tradition, ethnology and anthropology behind each cultural manifestation, whether we are talking about ceramics or textiles. We design small collections, buy pieces that are original to the author or the area and put buyers in contact with these artisans. Our goal is to be 100% transparent with the process and materials, we are proud of every piece we rescue or find and every craftsman we talk to and we want you to be too.
