Then like a puzzle game, they are put together. The result is original and raw pieces. Our jewelry is made of brass then gilded or palladium.Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. The color varies according to the proportions of one or the other. The result is more or less golden. The advantage of brass in jewelry is that it is soft and easily malleable. It reacts very well to galvanization to prevent it from oxidizing. The solder is made of silver to ensure good solidity. And; silver is also hypo-allergenic. The jewel is then galvanized in Paris. For the silver color, it is plated with palladium. This means that it is soaked in a bath and through an electrolysis system the palladium particles are fixed on the jewel. The same is true for the color gold, the palladium is replaced by a micron of 24k gold. This prevents contact allergies and provides durability and brilliance to the jewelry. Galvanization can be redone if it fades over time, or if abrasive or alcoholic products are used. The assembly and soldering work is done by hand in Bayonne.
