Our story: EKOOBOU was born from the ban on disposable plastic straws. The idea of two childhood friends to launch an artisanal production of bamboo straws in Thailand, 100% handmade. One resides in Thailand to take care of production, while the other handles distribution in France and Europe. Our bamboo groves are located in Nissan in the Northeast of Thailand, where family work and product quality prevail over mass production. All our straws are handcrafted in an artisanal manner. We select the finest bamboo stems and take the time to complete each step of the crafting process to offer our customers high-quality straws. Following this first successful step in production and marketing, we decided to continue this desire and passion to fight against plastic pollution by promoting the use of eco-friendly bamboo products.
