Since 1959 in Ponte d'Arbia, in the heart of the Val d'Arbia, Tuscany, Giovanni Marini and his family have been creating the wonderful fruits of the ancient pastry tradition of Sienese. The all-artisan processing of the exquisite homemade desserts, together with the choice of the highest quality raw materials (natural and without preservatives), make the “Nanni” pastry shop come to be known and frequented by all the gourmets of Siena and beyond. The desserts of “Nanni”, strictly “handmade”, are famous all over the world. Panforte, still cooked in copper pots and then worked by hand to maintain the flavor and aromas of the past, the Ricciarelli and Amaretti made from carefully selected almonds, kneaded and then “plucked” one by one, the Cantucci, the Ugly and Good, the Biscottoni and many other traditional desserts, make up a production that has jealously preserved the naturalness and authenticity of the ingredients marrying, in complete harmony, craftsmanship with a strict and meticulous quality control.
