REVOLTA is the creative practice of Tucson-based artist and eco-focused designer Monique Laraway. My work centers on community conservation, local resource sharing and practical tools that help people engage with their environment. I create designs that reflect the Sonoran Desert and support stronger connections to the places we live. Through illustration and educational design, I develop accessible, place-based resources focused on native plants, local ecosystems, and sustainable everyday practices. My goal is to make environmental information clear, useful, and grounded in real-life application. I approach design as a tool for connection and positive change—supporting community-led stewardship and offering alternatives to extractive systems.
