Individual lamps are the living trend of the coming years. Roomlight Studio is a manufacturer of upcycled mid-century lamps. We upcycle ceramics and glass from the Space Age, Pop Art, or Fat Lava era into high-quality and contemporary signature lamps. Each base curated by us receives a new lampshade, which we custom-make. We also handle the electrical components. We only sell lamps with new and/or tested electrical systems. Gentle: The vases and lamps we upcycle are collector's items, marked with a number. The "collector items" remain undamaged: we do not drill holes. With self-developed plug-in solutions and high-quality brass cover plates, we convert vases into lamps. Unique: Each lamp is a one-of-a-kind piece: the lamp bases were manufactured in renowned ceramic factories of the 50s to 70s. Names like Scheurich, Steuler, Jasba, Dümler & Breiden, or Carstens Tönnieshof are still known today. Especially with the Fat Lava lamps, the glazes and colors always vary. The construction and deconstruction of the bases, as well as the production of the lampshades, are also done individually.
