After spending over 30 years in the furniture industry, I decided to retire and bought an old lake house in the Northwest built in 1929. The previous owner was about 2 minutes away from replacing the old leaded glass French doors with vinyl doors and windows from a box store. Nothing warms my heart more than sitting in front of a real stone fireplace. Rustic open beams, beadboard ceilings, and Adirondack architecture feed my soul. It was a challenge finding both furniture and “house parts” to take my neglected house on its own adventure. So I decided to take this head on and created One Hudson Road.
