During a three-year stay in India I discovered my love for the traditional art of block printing. The block printing method is a centuries-old craft from Rajasthan: motifs are carved by artisans into wooden blocks, then dipped in color and stamped onto the fabric piece by piece with a steady hand. This creates a lively, slightly irregular pattern that gives this technique its special charm. Under the label Pink Tuk Tuk I offer hand-printed textiles for home and garden as well as fashion and accessories. Each collection is created from my own designs and is hand-printed by small, family-run workshops in Jaipur and sewn in Delhi. Every piece is unique.
