What began as a small side hobby in our garage in January of 2014 has grown far beyond anything we imagined — today, Doug & Cristy Designs furniture can be found in over half a million homes across the U.S. But numbers are not what drive us. At the heart of our business is a simple mission: to redeem what others overlook. Each piece we create is made from reclaimed wood — wood with a story of its own, once discarded or forgotten. By giving new life to these materials, we not only help reduce waste going into landfills, but we also craft meaningful pieces that bring warmth and character to your home. For us, this work is more than furniture — it’s a reflection of what we believe: that beauty can come from broken things, that craftsmanship matters, and that the spaces we live in should inspire and restore us. Our workshop has always been a place of family and community — first in our garage, and now in a space where faith, creativity, and hard work come together each day. Many of our builders have been with us for years, and each finished piece carries the mark of hands that care about what they create.
