Draped in Heritage was founded by Deepak Jhalani, a native of Jaipur, with a vision to bring India’s artisanal beauty to everyday life. The inspiration for the brand came from his wife, Ruchi, after the birth of their child. Ruchi wanted to get out of the shower as quickly as possible, and Deepak brought her a robe from his hometown. She instantly fell in love with the material, design, and comfort of the robe. She suggested they share this kind of handcrafted luxury with others—and that spark led to the birth of Draped in Heritage. What began with a bathrobe has grown into a thoughtful collection that includes tote bags, sarongs, scarves, laptop sleeves, toiletry bags, and handwoven throws.
