I think as an artisan it is important to give a nod to the past & also to the people that came before us w/ their extraordinary creations that display extraordinary craftsmanship. We have learned so much from the historical past & the great things created, as we preserve or collect special pieces. These precious things have so many great stories to tell, as they have been weathered & worn, cherished & loved...enveloped w/ so many special memories throughout the years, some longer than others. We want to continue w/ a new story where they've been found, some re-envisioned, & some repurposed, ...given a new meaning to continue for many more years to come allowing new stories to unfold & take place in them. Many of the special things here are an example of timeless fashion. This idea of slow fashion means that they never quite go out of style, as they are always loved, admired, & adored. We have discovered some really special things along our path and throughout our journey, and found them to be absolutely fabulous, ...things with much life left in them, things to be treasured & adored. Some are left just as incredible as they were found... some have been given a hip new look...and some have become hip again through the ebbs & flows of life along with the gift of time. Whatever the case, it is my honor to present some fantastic vintage finds that simply could not be left behind. They have stood the test of time & have that hip look again ready to take you forward.
