About POEMI

POEMI is a boutique factory dedicated to designing and creating tableware, kitchenware, and decorative objects. Each POEMI piece carries the imprint of hard work, creativity and transformation - from the bowl of clay to the final piece. Crafted from stoneware and fired at high temperatures, our ceramics undergo a slow, deliberate process that takes several weeks. The result is objects designed to endure: resistant, waterproof, and safe for both home and professional use. Every piece blends timeless design with functionality, durability, and a deep respect for nature. In our effort to minimize waste, we recycle all leftover stoneware from production, repurposing it into new pieces and glazes. In order to create unique and stunning textures, we integrate another reclaimed material to some of our glazes, which is the wood ash, that we collect from our community - a gesture of connection and continuity. We see our ceramics as quite canvases, something that enhances rather than competes with the food, that creates harmony on the table. A quiet presence that perfect a meal, frames a story, and invites people to slow down, connect, and appreciate craftsmanship.
