In 2024, visionary Danny Andrade joined as co-owner and managing director, bringing global expertise from years working directly with coffee producers and advancing innovative processing techniques. His relationships expanded access to exceptional beans, further elevating Blackboard’s offerings. Today, the Burleigh Heads-based team remains rooted in its local origins while supplying over 40 cafes and home brewers worldwide. They partner with farmers committed to sustainability and fairness, roast with precision, and collaborate with detail-oriented cafes. Despite growth, their ethos stays unchanged: a dedicated crew of coffee lovers prioritizing community and craftsmanship over trends.
