Hello! My name is Emily Frushour and I'm the independent artist behind 37prime, specializing in vibrant and delicate watercolors that embody the spirit of Michigan’s beloved landmarks and regions. A lifelong Michigander, I grew up in Ann Arbor, attended the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design, and have been fortunate to explore much of our state throughout my life. My work is inspired by the familiarity and fondness I have for its special spaces. From the grandeur of the Great Lakes to the magic of Mackinac Island, from the historic lighthouses to the architectural icons, I aim to capture the unique beauty of “the mitten state” with brilliant watercolors and notecards.Read their story
