About GuardaVent

Hi! I'm Michele McCrea, founder of Karymi Company and Inventor of GuardaVent. I live in Grande Prairie, AB with my husband and 2 kiddos. Guardavent was an idea that came out of necessity. I wanted childproof vent covers for my house when my kids were at that oh so curious stage because the dangers of an open floor vent were too much for me to handle, and I ended up taping them down, which I hated. I designed, patented and manufacture my childproof vent covers right here in Canada. They are made out of ABS plastic and come in 4 different colours. Read their story
