Our story began in 2009 when Larry and Caroline Boudreaux opened Cousin Boudreaux’s General Store to promote their Cajun joke books and cookbooks. Larry’s humor and Caroline’s passion for cooking made the store a hit, but it was their handcrafted Cajun seasonings and dip mixes that stole the show. Over time, Cousin Boudreaux’s became known for delivering the taste of Louisiana in every package. On December 1, 2024, Cousin Boudreaux’s was purchased by Cajun Depot, a small family-owned business led by Dale and Kerry Thornton and their three adult children, Caleb, Cole, and Caroline. With a shared love for Cajun culture and cuisine, the Thornton family is committed to honoring the Boudreaux legacy while expanding its reach to specialty retailers and gift shops. We focus on creating high-quality, prepackaged seasoning blends that bring the rich heritage of Louisiana cooking to your customers’ shelves.
