I’m Sarah, and I’ve found my home in the vast forests of Canada. In the wild nature of the Laurentians, I slow down and connect with the beauty of simple things. Living in this place fills me with deep gratitude. Preserving its diversity is a central impulse for my artistic work. My love for nature runs deep, which is why my work focuses primarily on botanical motifs. The ancient knowledge of plants, fungi, and living beings is an endless source of inspiration for me. I believe that this fascination and wonder for nature is something universal, no matter where we call home. On walks with my dog in the forest, while working in the garden, discovering medicinal plants, or simply sitting under a tree listening to the birds, I take the time to observe.
