About Folk Potions

We dream up organic, small batch soaps, butters, salves and herb-infused oils for daily + ritual use. Lovingly formulated and prepared with the whole family in mind. Slow skincare is a movement back to time-honored methods of employing plants to help our bodies. Most of these products start out as herbs macerating in oils. That process takes six weeks. After the herbs have been filtered out, what remains is a potent oil informed by generations of knowledge. The oil is then set with beeswax into a balm or salve, or left whole and bottled.
