When topical CBD failed to relieve his mother’s leg spasms brought on from Multiple Sclerosis, Hugh Huffaker, the founder of CauseMedic, was determined to find another way. Hugh and his business partner discovered a micro-encapsulation method to make topicals truly transformative by converting CBD over to a water-soluble form. After improving the bioavailability of CBD, Hugh and the CauseMedic team founded an organic farm near Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado to grow hemp using the highest quality farming standards available. For example, since hemp is a bioaccumulator and absorbs everything in the soil, we produce our own living soil in-house to avoid any heavy metal or chemical contamination. Additionally, we are one of the only CBD brands in the world that use a cold-press CBD extraction method instead of using toxic solvents like butane.
