After moving to NYC and beginning a corporate role, Clare became accustomed to differentiating herself with colorful and unique spins on traditional work attire. Though this standardization was not surprising in the finance world, it shocked her to realize that in the fitness community, uniformity characterized athletic apparel as well. Clare immediately noticed a gap in the market for elevated, unique activewear designs that went beyond basic functionality. This realization sparked the inspiration for SCOUT.
