About Porcelaine Moderne

Porcelaine Moderne is a French design studio founded in 2020 by product designer Caroline Gazel. Made in our workshop in the South-West of France, our collections combine artisanal craftsmanship, contemporary design and meaningful objects. Each piece is handmade in white earthenware and some are delicately gilded with fine gold. Inspired by the art of the table, the seasons and life’s important moments, our creations are designed to be given, used and kept for a long time. Among the most appreciated collections are Introduction to Happiness, Flower Breads and the creations dedicated to the world of well‑being inspired by the mantra I Call the Universe. The brand also develops more singular projects, such as the Family Circus vase, a personalized family object that has become one of the signatures of its creative universe. Since its creation, Porcelaine Moderne has collaborated with retailers such as Le Bon Marché, La Samaritaine and Fleux, and its creations are now distributed in concept stores, gift shops and florists in France and internationally.Read their story
