Meet the "Popcorn Lady" Kendra Black is a Nashville native and the proud owner of Kendra's Gourmet Popcorn. Her childhood memories were filled with the joy of having movie nights with her family and making fresh batches of popcorn with her mother. Years later, after discussing starting a business with a close friend, Kendra went through various trials and errors to find her niche. After what Kendra felt like a bunch of failed attempts to find something that would work, Kendra made her first batch of caramel popcorn and it brought her back to the nostalgia of making popcorn with her mother. Behind excited, Kendra had another group of friends trying the popcorn, it was so good they convinced her to start a popcorn business. In September 2016 Kendra's Gourmet Popcorn (formally known as "What's Poppin, Kendra's Gourmet Popcorn) was born.
