About BAHIA HOME

Behind Bahia, there is Marie, passionate about decoration, lover of travel and the desire to share the world's crafts. Bahia was born in 2022 thanks to numerous trips and the discovery of numerous cultures, numerous crafts and especially those of the Maghreb. My goal is to promote Maghreb handicrafts so you can find some of them at home! The objects you find in the shop are the result of close collaboration with each of our craftsmen. Often unique pieces that are less traditional and more modern than what you are used to finding. Each craftsman continues to work according to ancestral methods that are passed on from generation to generation but with new designs! We work ethically, all the artisans who work with us are paid fairly to allow them to make a living from their art. We try to have the smallest footprint on our planet Earth possible. All products are created from raw materials (doum, eucalyptus, glass, leather, clay,...) and no plastic is used to make our products. We optimize our waste in stores as much as possible and all the bubble wrap used by our craftsmen to protect our products as far as France is reused to protect your products.Read their story
