About TillyPad Studios

Welcome! My name is Kristen and I am the founder and designer behind TillyPad Studios. My art studio was essentially created when I was planning my wedding in 2022. When planning I became curious and intrigued by all the trending styles - especially the DIY aspect of it all! I decided to utilize pressed flower art for my invitations and hand designed each one of my guests their very own design (I had 180 guests!). Friends and family shared their excitement upon receiving their invitations and have them framed in their own houses. From there my obsession with flower pressing, flower preservation, and flower art bloomed. Having previously worked in tech I unfortunately became a victim to the layoffs and lost my corporate job. That was when I decided to pursue my own business with TillyPad Studios. My art focuses on pressed flowers in a few different ways: *Pressed flower art - invitations/sentimental cards and canvas or framed dried flower designs • Preserved flower art in resin and jewelry However, pressed flower art and jewelry is not the only items you will see in my store.... I also expanded my exploration in crafts with decoupaged shells. My creativity and curiosity for art is everchanging but my main focus is on capturing nature in as many forms as possible.
