Step into the story... ...of two moms united by a love for design who met during a pivotal popcorn-popping encounter at an elementary school in Tacoma. From there they begin the decade long journey that spawns Tacoma Design Company. Fast forward to 2020. Despite the challenges of having social time during COVID, we kept a regular Sunday date as a form of pandemic therapy. We decided that in order to survive 2020 with our mental health intact we needed to get creative. And, as we all know, Makers Gonna Make. We needed the tools to create so we decided we needed a laser. And then.... ...we went all in. We set up an LLC, opened a bank account and in just six months we launched Tacoma Design Company. And that, my friends, is the story of how Tammi and Nicole embarked on this wild adventure where two friends decided to create something together.
