About Carole & Co

My name is Carole, I am the creator of the upcycling jewelry brand Carole & Co. Always passionate about fashion, I had the chance to work for 20 years in the ready-to-wear industry. While I was still in office I started creating leather earrings. I discovered at a trade show that you could buy leather scraps. It was the trigger for me, I started creating jewelry, in colors that I had selected with graphic shapes. Simple and Effective, everything I like. So I created my jewelry brand, determined to take the plunge, to move towards more ethical fashion. A craft that makes me vibrate, part of an upcycling approach Worn, my jewelry quickly pleased my girlfriends. So it was natural that I decided to create for them. Today my girlfriends always wear my creations with style. They made their Girlfriends, Colleagues, or Cousins want to wear them in turn... this is how Carole & Co was born (Girlfriends, Cousines, Colleagues, Collaboration...) Giving meaning, respecting the planet, values that are important to me. So I chose to create these jewels in an ecological upcycling approach. My jewelry is imagined, designed and made in Toulouse in my workshop from leather scraps. The reuse of these scraps makes it possible to add value to this waste. Indeed, the material is already available, ready to be used. Rather than throwing it away I take the opportunity to transform it. Read their story
