Ettie-Mae’s Rainbow Wishes didn’t begin as a business — it began as a moment between a mother and her daughter. When my daughter Ettie-Mae was 5, she struggled with confidence. As a mum with a background in psychotherapy, I wanted to support her in a gentle and meaningful way. We started saying simple affirmations together in the mirror each day. Then one day, I asked her, “What does that affirmation look like?” She began to draw them — in her own colourful, magical way. Over time, I saw a change in her. She stood a little taller. She believed in herself a little more. These cards were never meant to be a product. But when I saw the impact they had on her, I knew this was something that needed to be shared.
