About Fiction and Fibre

After making my escape from the corporate world in 2020 I went all in with the small business life … but not this business. First I crocheted day and night making super cute critters that brought joy to so many people. Honestly it was a struggle splitting time between reading and crocheting until I found audio books and I could listen to the books while I crocheted. Best of both worlds. In the summer of 2024 I had two HUGE shows two weeks apart. Needing to restock as many items as I could between the two shows really flared up both tennis and golfers elbow injuries. I knew I wouldn’t be able to maintain making at the rate I was. Instead of slowing down shows. I decided to start something brand new. That’s when Fiction and Fibre was born! It started as an idea in early August. Come mid September the website was launched and I had markets booked. I am loving every minute of it and my arms are enjoying holding books more than a crochet hook. My goal is to bring cute, affordable, size inclusive book merch to all of you that’s made and designed by me in Canada! Read their story
