About Embued Photophiles

Embued Photophiles is a collection of paper goods rooted in my love for photography.  I make everything by hand with sustainable materials in my Brooklyn studio.  I use my own photographs, found photographs, and images from photo history to create cards, notebooks, prints, pillows and totes.  As an antidote to the constant (and in turn, disposable) way imagery is consumed today, I often rescue discarded antique photos and transform them in to modern works imbued with a sense of simplicity that I find timeless.  Read their story
