I have over 20 years of experience in fine arts. Mostly abstract painting, but more recently I have been exploring other mediums. I was quick to learn ceramics, and have been really enjoying block printing. I’m interested in continually learning new mediums to better express myself artistically. I spent most of my life influenced by what other people said would sell, they meant well but I discovered that I wasn’t happy working with sales as a goal. So over the last couple years I stepped back and really focused on what I enjoy making and I have found to have a lot more creativity. Currently, the subject matter of my work is a combination of past trauma, weird facts, and things I just find aesthetically pleasing. I don’t have a singular style. I feel like allowing my creativity to take me on a ride produces more honest work that I continually get excited about. Read their story
