This is the story of two friends from the South of France, with a lot of ideas in their heads, who one day decided to join forces to set up their company, with the ambition of innovating in the field of ecology. Up to that point, the adventure may seem quite ordinary. My colleague was then working in a solar panel company that was at the end of its life. We wanted to launch a war machine, to innovate, and the first idea that came to mind was to solve the number one problem in the world, eliminating access to drinking water. Since we had some experience in solar and energy, we thought we would solve this problem in a solar way. Thus were born our water purifiers without consumables, filters or maintenance with a patented technology exclusive to LaVie: the photolysis of chlorine by UV-A radiation. This treatment removes chlorine and its by-products, certain pesticides and traces of medication, as well as the tastes and odors found in tap water. 1 liter of water is now purified in only 15 minutes.Read their story
