About Pebbles and Company

Pebbles and Company is a card company that celebrates connection, friendship and supporting mental health throughout all phases of life - not just the big holidays. Founded by two Toronto-based artists (and high school friends!) Leanne Toshiko Simpson is a mental health writer, whose first book Never Been Better was published through Harper Collins in 2023. Emily Gillis is an artist and designer, running Sweetfolk Studio to uplift small businesses. They reconnected during Covid lockdowns, and years later decided to build Pebbles and Company to help friends and family start meaningful conversations and support through good days, hard days, and all the days in between.Read their story
