Artwork illustrated with love by an independent artist and wildlife biologist in the Illinois STL Metro East area. Howdy, I’m Moth (he/ they)! I’m a wildlife biologist, illustrator, and the person behind Lavender Cowboy Art; presently based in west-central Illinois. I’m trans, queer, disabled, and currently a full-time self-taught freelance artist — though I hold a Bachelor’s degree in wildlife conservation and environmental science and am working on finishing up my Master’s degree in biology! My experiences as a wildlife biologist and as a disabled queer person often influence my work. I love being able to share these pieces of my soul with you and hope that my work inspires you to get outside, enjoy nature, find community, and create!
