Founded in 1965 as an imprint of the publishing house moderne industrie, mvg quickly established itself as a practical advice and self-help publisher. Early on the focus was on psychology and partnership, spirituality and esotericism as well as love and sexuality. In 2008 the Munich publishing group took over mvg and expanded the publishing program. Today mvg publishes parenting guides and popular-science non-fiction on psychology, health and mindfulness.
