About Garden Like A Girl

OUR STORY In late 2020, we started Garden like a Girl to create gardening gloves specifically designed for women, focusing on fit and using eco-friendly, natural, and recycled materials. Drawing from our own experiences and feedback from countless 'Ruggedly Feminine' gardeners, we realized the gloves available often fit poorly, wore out at the fingertips, let in dirt, failed to protect nails, and are made from synthetic materials. Our research also showed that women with longer, and shorter, fingers had almost no suitable options. Addressing these needs, we developed WEEDIES gardening gloves—designed to FIT, PROTECT, and LAST. GIVING BACK We are committed to building a company that gives back and focuses on the health of our planet. As cancer survivors, this value is close to our hearts so 2% of our net profits support cancer research. As environmentally conscious gardeners, we prioritize natural, organic, and recycled plastic fibers in our products. We select fabric and manufacturing partners who share our values—emphasizing sustainability, fair wages, minimal environmental impact, and a dedication to giving back.
