About Chloeography

Chloe Kono is a Los Angeles-based creative metalsmith. She earned her BFA degree from California State University, Long Beach in 2008 and has been actively showcasing her metal art ever since. The "stage name" Chloeography reflects how her creations are original, connected to her soul and body, and full of emotion like a dance. Among the numerous media she has dabbled in, her all-time favorite is metal and her focus is on jewelry because not only is metal full of character and wild possibilities, the idea that her collectors would start conversations with others because they are wearing her work excites her. Connection and sometimes even friendships happen and the joy of making keeps on giving. She creates one of a kind bespoke jewelry, which she considers wearable mood booster for all. Her intention is to remind wearers to taste life to the fullest, no matter their age, gender, body type or background. Her obsession with all things circus comes from not only its whimsical and unhinged aesthetics, but the core idea of how being different is something that should be celebrated as unique instead of shamed and tamed. As of 2024, She has been teaching metalsmithing workshops at Adam's Forge and is determined to keep inspiring.Read their story
