I’m Jamie, founder of Tuck & Char Co., mama of two, former lifeguard, and ex-PE teacher who believes kids belong outside, not glued to screens. I grew up on the water and around sports — surf, skate, snow, wake. If it involved a board, I was in. That love for movement led me to teaching Physical Education and later inspired the brand I’m building today. After welcoming our second baby in 2023, my husband and I decided to create something of our own. What started with a single hat sale on Etsy quickly grew into Tuck & Char Co. — a family-run brand designing small-batch, surf- and skate-inspired apparel for kids who play hard and families who value an outdoor-first childhood. Today, Tuck & Char Co. is my full-time focus. Every piece is designed with intention, inspired by wild childhoods, and made to be worn on repeat — from the beach to the backyard and everywhere in between.
