Set to become a British-designed success story , Clear ‘N’ Collect, which is made in the UK in Hampshire, is the brainchild of James Coneron, who invented the unique, handy gadget in 2019. Twenty years ago, James set up a landscape gardening business that would see him and his team pick up more than 100 tonnes of garden debris while carrying out garden maintenance jobs. James knew that he had to come up with a quick and easy alternative to this repetitive, labour-intensive task that can easily take its toll on anyone. Inventor James Coneron said: “While the Clear ‘N’ Collect can be used all-year round to swiftly remove garden waste in one easy motion, it comes into its own during autumn as piles of leaves carpet lawns, patios and driveways. Collecting and clearing leaves, hedge clippings and garden debris – as well as spiky or difficult-to-grab rubbish – is a job that’s facing every garden owner right now, but one that many of us put off as it has historically involved lots of back-breaking raking and bending.
