About Silex Skincare

Silex Skincare was created by Erin Johnston, a corporate pilot, who noticed that the more time she spent with her head in the clouds, the worse her complexion looked and felt. Determined to solve the dryness and premature aging caused by traveling at high altitudes, she began researching why airplane cockpits and cabins have such a negative impact on skin. She was appalled at what she discovered. In response, she partnered with cosmetic chemists and professionals to create Silex. Our products were formulated to protect the skin from these harmful effects. We are for anyone who wants healthier, happier, and more hydrated skin, but especially for travelers who spend much of their time up in the air.Read their story
