About Tulum Handmade

Tulum HM joined the "Tzotzil" Indian community in order to mix modern design with ancient artisan techniques; to be able to offer fashionable handmade pet products with cultural heritage. Tulum HM team felt in love with the Tzotzil Indian community's colorful designs. We felt that we needed to show them to the world, introducing these "unique-pieces-of-art" to people in other countries. Each and every sales provides a sustainable and local employment. We pay them even before the community starts purchasing the raw materials, because we do care about their financial security first. Furthermore, since 2019 our organization is rescuing animals from the Mexican's streets. We have rescued around 800 animals which 500 of them have been adopted by lovely Mexican, Canadian and American families. Tulum HM is helping, thanks to its sales, the association with the animal's vet fee, buying food and beds or whatever the rescued animals need.Read their story
