About NIRAMAYA

I grew up in New Delhi, India I grew up in a place full of color, and energy, and the occasional henna on the street corner. And at home there were 5 generations under the same roof, always cooking and feeding me the rich plant-based foods we grew and ate everyday. At 24, I moved to the US The dream to come to the States started with Grad School in North Carolina. I loved so much of the new experience, but missed the quick and healthy foods I had grown up eating. And I wanted to also share all those foods and flavors with my new friends! So I started a food company! Niramaya meals Wellness for All in Sanskrit, which was my hope to share the wellness I had enjoyed growing up with my new community. Offering dips full of the nutritionally dense foods and spices I loved as a child, and naan pretzels to share the robust flavors of home, these foods are just the beginning of Indian-inspired snacks that Niramaya is bringing to market.Read their story
