About Katro

Some of my fondest childhood memories are of learning to sew pajamas with my grandmother. Even then, I was drawn to colorful prints and added my own special details to make everything as practical as it was beautiful. When my own kids were young, we spent summers in Malibu where I began designing bright, colorful caftans that I could wear to the beach during the day and then dress up with lipstick and a pair of heels at night. Encouraged by friends, I began selling these caftans at trunk shows and Katro was born. Today, I create loungewear for the woman who does everything. This collection is designed to move with you through your busiest days, wildest nights, and laidback Sundays. My heart lies in California, and Katro’s colorful prints and easy silhouettes are inspired by its vast, epic beauty and outdoor living. Everything is designed and produced in Los Angeles with great care and attention to detail. I believe life is about family, however you define yours.
